About us

Round Barn Productions, the creative love child of friends Monica Roberts and Erin Foster-O’Riordan, was formed in 2007,but its founders had been working on projects together for years before.  They both worked at Fort Edmonton Park on a lovely little turn of the century farmhouse whose claim to fame was bee-keeping, jersey cows, and a remarkable 20-sided round barn.  It turns out that the barn would be one of many things that they had in common including stints at Ontario universities, an affinity for scruffy men in red, and, of course, a love of singing, acting and dancing. After working together on a number of projects in the city they decided to take their theatre involvement to a new level, and Round Barn Productions was born.
